Inspiration from Creativation 2018

I would not even know where to begin reflecting on all the amazing things we experienced this year in Phoenix, AZ at the annual Creativation Show event. Four amazing days was simply not enough to do everything we wanted to do, yet we are coming back feeling accomplished and inspired. Among the highlights we have been sharing with you on our Facebook page are the amazing artists we got to meet or reconnect with. I could not believe that I got the opportunity to meet and take a picture with the amazing Jane Davenport, an artist who got me started in journaling. She was kind enough to take a picture with me and did not seem to be too bothered by my excitement to have such an amazing opportunity (I felt like a little girl meeting an idol!). And that did not stop there. I also met Tim Holtz, whose new amazing product line is going to blow any artist away. The fun Dyan Reaveley gave a demo of her new line of journals, and I got to show her the journal page I made with one of her canvas cards - she was too kind in telling me how great it looked, but I was quite honored.

Anne Marie and I took a super fun class with Debi Adams, and learned how to make really fun and easy projects using the Spellbinders Die Cut machine. Debi is one of the sweetest and kindest people you will meet - her hugs are also inspiration boosters - every time you get one, a creative angel gets her wings.

Margaret took a paper flowers class with David Tutera and is already excited to get her own die cut machine to experiment with more designs and ideas.

We also got to take a picture with Frank Garcia, whose designs are absolutely enthralling. The things he creates are out of this world beautiful - if you are looking for some wow - check out his work and prepare to be amazed.

Now that we have returned home and are in the process of unpacking our bags full of goodies and endless catalogs, we are inspired, excited and re-invigorated for a year of great things. We cannot wait to share our ideas with you!
