Art and Autism

April is Autism Awareness month, and we want to thank you for allowing us the opportunity to promote acceptance of autism through our business. One of the many great things about art is that it helps people express themselves when they may otherwise not be able to do so. It applies to autism as well. Art therapy is one of the ways that individuals living with autism are able to communicate, and there are numerous professional organizations that use art therapy to help people living with autism improve brain functioning, communication skills, spatial acuity, and overall style of living. Thank you for opening your hearts to this condition and for helping us spread autism awareness and acceptance here at Mystic Spring Studios.

Do you have stories to share with us about ways that art helped you or your loved ones? We would love to hear them! Share with us on our Facebook page and help us show just how personal art is to all of us.
