Why "arting" is important no matter your level of ability. . .

When I first approached art, I did it as a test for myself. No offense to 5th graders but my first attempt was "scored" at 5th grade level by my ever-astute girls, Candice and Daphne. I could have quit. . .but I didn't. I love creating even when I am just learning a new technique. However, what is most important to me is that the benefits of "arting" provide a clear reason why, even when you don't think you are "THAT creative," it matters. I have included a link on art and mental health benefits. After reading it, let me know: "How has art helped you?"
